PASSION PARADOX

There can be no denying that Mia has more than a few screws loose in her head—and I'm all for it, heheheh~  I never quite knew where this VN's story was going to go next, with both the isekai angle and the twists at the end alike catching me off guard; but that just made it all the more interesting of a read!  I'll take a story that keeps me guessing over a predictable one any day of the week.

The great deal of care and effort you put into making the story as historically accurate as possible also shines through~  I was NOT expecting this VN to turn into something of a time travel period piece, but once again, I'm all for it, especially with how well you executed it~  I'm still over here wondering if "weaving" was in fact a euphemism in Tudor times...

On top of that, the visual presentation (especially in v1.3.2) is really quite nice!  That CG of Sybil teaching Mia how to use the loom was gorgeous—and similarly, the CGs of Mia near the end were gore-geous, heh heh heh~

Great job on this one!

First of all, your logo. As someone who struggles so so bad with logo design (to the point where I just straight up did not make a logo for my own submission to this jam), I really admire how interesting and cool y'all's looks. Very visually impressive.

Second, I love the different placement of the text in the intro to show Mia's speech, her thoughts, and then the narration. It's very smartly done and shows me everything we can do with visual novel execution. Great use of the medium.

The dialogue was also well written, Mia is extremely funny. She is also so unhinged. Scared the shit out of me, which I'm assuming was the goal, and if so it was done very effectively.

I was sincerely touched and amazed by this. I left more of a 'review' with my rating but this felt very much to me like you had a strong pair of leads (two of the strongest I've seen this jam) hooked to an idea it almost felt like it was too beautiful to give voice to. I don't know; I'll be thinking about this one a whole lot.

This was amazing!!!! Out of the games I've played for this jam so far this might be the most impactful overall experience. The writing, the art, even the scant pieces of music were so well used, and this has one of my favorite protagonists in a long time. You wrote her obsession laced perfectly with her deep love and want, eclipsing everything else until she's finally given what she wanted, or at least she thinks so.

I'm bad at putting my thoughts down but this was such a well-realized work, it felt like nothing was wasted. I loved the narration and what little dialogue there was, as well as all the effort and research that went into it. I liked the ambiguity too, we're given little but it's more than enough to elicit the emotions you wanted to show us, especially there at the end. Such grotesque imagery alongside the cosmic promise of love and care for all other versions of her. It's so good!!!
